8Crafter's Ore UI Customizer v1.13.0

Instructions

Instructions

Windows

If you are on Windows, if you are using a version before Minecraft 1.21.120, you will either need Bedrock Launcher, another custom launcher, or IObit Unlocker, Bedrock Launcher is HIGHLY recommended, as IObit Unlocker can be buggy and a pain to deal with.

Any Launcher (even the official launcher, or even no launcher at all) (for 1.21.120 and above)

Option 1 (App) (Recommended)

If you want to use the app version of the customizer, go to https://github.com/8Crafter-Studios/Ore-UI-Customizer-App and follow the instructions there.

Option 2 (CLI)

If you want to use the CLI version of the customizer, go to https://npmjs.com/package/ore-ui-customizer-cli and follow the instructions there.
Note: To customize the options, first click the "Show Options" button below and choose your desired options, then click the export config button below, then when you run the CLI, instead of just running ore-ui-customizer-cli, run ore-ui-customizer-cli --config="C:/path/to/ore-ui-customizer-config.json", that will use the config file you just created.

Option 3 (GUI)

NOTE: If you are choosing this option because you want to be able to see the preview of the color customizations while you are making them, you can just create the color customizations on the website and export the config and import that config into the app.
If you want to use the GUI version of the customizer (this webpage), follow these steps:
  • Check if your current Minecraft version is listed in the "GUI .zip File Preset" dropdown, if it is, select your current Minecraft version and continue to step 4.
Copmress your unmodified gui folder into a .zip file (NOT hbui or dist, it HAS to be the entire gui folder.).
IMPORTANT: The JavaScript files in the gui folder in the provided .zip file must be UNMODIFIED, or else it will not detect the parts to replace properly, if you have modifed it, make a backup of it, and repair your Minecraft installation.
Go to C:/XboxGames (or whatever folder contains the version folders in your custom launcher), if you are using a custom launcher open the folder for the version that is your current Minecraft version, otherwise open either the Minecraft for Windows or Minecraft Preview for Windows folder. Then, open the data folder if you are using a custom launcher, otherwise open the Content/data folder. Then, right click on the gui folder, and click on Compress to... > ZIP File.
  • Click on the "Import .zip file" button at the bottom of the screen.
  • Upload the .zip file containing your unmodified gui folder.
  • (Optional) Click on the "Show Options" button below and choose your desired options.
  • Click the "Apply Mods" button below and wait for the download button to stop being grayed out, this may take anywhere from a few seconds to 2 minutes depending on your device.
  • Click the "Download" button at the bottom of the screen, this will download the .zip file containing your modified gui folder.
  • Extract the .zip file containing your modified gui folder.
  • Replace your unmodified gui folder with the modified gui folder.

IObit Unlocker (for 1.21.114 and below)

It is highly recommended that you use Bedrock Launcher or any other custom launcher instead of IOBit Unlocker, as IObit Unlocker is very buggy. Using a custom launcher also allows you to use the app version of the Ore UI Customizer, which is much easier to use.
  • Check if your current Minecraft version is listed in the "GUI .zip File Preset" dropdown, if it is, select your current Minecraft version and continue to step 4.
    • Copmress your unmodified gui folder into a .zip file (NOT hbui or dist, it HAS to be the entire gui folder.).
    • IMPORTANT: The JavaScript files in the gui folder in the provided .zip file must be UNMODIFIED, or else it will not detect the parts to replace properly, if you have modifed it, make a backup of it, and repair your Minecraft installation.
    • If you are on windows and using IOBit Unlocker (this method will NOT work if you are using bedrock launcher, please use the bedrock launcher method instead if you are using bedrock launcher), go to %programfiles%/WindowsApps. Then open the folder that starts with Microsoft.MinecraftUWP. Then open the data folder.

GUI .zip File Preset

If you are having issues downloading the .zip file, try using the buttons below instead, make sure to be patient, as on some devices it could take up to 2 minutes for the file to actually download. (NOTE: The below buttons are slower as they don't use web workers, but that may improve compatibility on some devices. On Android web workers are disabled by default due to instability, even for the above buttons (unless the user agent string isn't recognized as Android).)
