Windows
If you are on Windows, you will either need
Bedrock Launcher or IObit Unlocker, Bedrock
Launcher is HIGHLY recommended, as IObit Unlocker can be buggy and a pain to deal with.
Note: The app is currently in beta.
Note: To customize the options, first click the "Show Options" button below and choose your desired options, then click the export config button below, then when you run the CLI, instead of just running
Bedrock Launcher
Option 1 (App) (Recommended)
If you want to use the app version of the customizer, go to https://github.com/8Crafter-Studios/Ore-UI-Customizer-App and follow the instructions there.Note: The app is currently in beta.
Option 2 (CLI)
If you want to use the CLI version of the customizer, go to https://npmjs.com/package/ore-ui-customizer-cli and follow the instructions there.Note: To customize the options, first click the "Show Options" button below and choose your desired options, then click the export config button below, then when you run the CLI, instead of just running
ore-ui-customizer-cli

run ore-ui-customizer-cli --config="C:/path/to/ore-ui-customizer-config.json"
, that will use the config
file you just created.
Option 3 (GUI)
If you want to use the GUI version of the customizer (this webpage), follow these steps:-
Check if your current Minecraft version is listed in the "GUI .zip File Preset" dropdown, if it is, select your
current Minecraft version and continue to step 4.
Copmress your unmodifiedgui
folder into a .zip file (NOThbui
ordist
, it HAS to be the entiregui
folder.).
IMPORTANT: The JavaScript files in thegui
folder in the provided .zip file must be UNMODIFIED, or else it will not detect the parts to replace properly, if you have modifed it, make a backup of it, and repair your Minecraft installation.
Go to%appdata%/.minecraft_bedrock/versions
, open the folder for the version that is your current Minecraft version, and open thedata
folder. Then, right click on thegui
folder, and click onCompress to... > ZIP File
. - Click on the "Import .zip file" button at the bottom of the screen.
- Upload the .zip file containing your unmodified gui folder.
- (Optional) Click on the "Show Options" button below and choose your desired options.
- Click the "Apply Mods" button below and wait for the download button to stop being grayed out, this may take anywhere from a few seconds to 2 minutes depending on your device.
- Click the "Download" button at the bottom of the screen, this will download the .zip file containing your modified gui folder.
- Extract the .zip file containing your modified gui folder.
- Replace your unmodified
gui
folder with the modifiedgui
folder.
IObit Unlocker
It is highly recommended that you use bedrock launcher or any other custom launcher instead of IOBit Unlocker, as IObit
Unlocker is very buggy. Using a custom launcher also allows you to use the app version of the Ore UI Customizer, which
is much easier to use.

. Then open thedata
folder. Then, right click on thegui
folder, and click onCompress to... > ZIP File
.
